―Note in Trappon F's code, Make a Good Mega Man Level

Trappon F is an enemy from Make a Good Mega Man Level. It is a robot based on the Piranha Plant enemy (more specifically, the fire-spitting variants) from the Super Mario Bros. series. It appears in the entry Mega Man World, as well as the Wily stages Be the Bigger Person, Hall of Fame, Everything's Blowing Up, and Flashback Database. Make a Good Mega Man Level Remastered does not add it to any new stages, but rather removes it from the remade version of Be the Bigger Person.

Behavior

Trappon Fs remain rooted in place, always facing Mega Man. Normally, they remain invincible against most weapons, but will briefly become vulnerable to damage after spitting a bouncing fireball. This fireball bounces twice before emitting a large explosion (which is completely harmless), and absorbs damage from the Gemini Laser, Solar Blaze, and Pharaoh Shot. Though Trappon Fs are fairly durable, certain Special Weapons are capable of one-shotting them.

Notes

  • With appearances in four out of six Wily Castle stages in addition to its source level, Trappon F holds the distinction of being the most-used custom enemy in the original Make a Good Mega Man Level.
    • Despite being absent in the MaGMML1R version of Be the Bigger Person, it still remains the most used custom enemy in the game, with three appearances outside of Mega Man World.
