"..............................................Let me sing you the song of my people."
― Gordon Freeman, breaking the sacred oath of silence.

Gordon Freeman is the main character of the Half-Life franchise, and an NPC in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2 who can be found in Tier 2, by taking a secret entrance next to the teleporter to Ombuds Man. When interacted with, he, at first, maintains his trademark silence, before asking the player to listen to his singing. A remixed, memetic version of Galaxy Man's theme then begins to play, and it will continue playing until the player exits the room, or Gordon Freeman is spoken to again.

His relationship to the similar-looking Gordyn Pressman from Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level has yet to be confirmed.

Trivia

  • Gordon Freeman's presence is a joke reference to the judging phase of the contest, where some of the entries (particularly from Tier 1) never changed their music, which was Galaxy Man's theme by default. The song got pretty annoying for the judges, and eventually it resulted in the developers of the game including this room.
  • The remix itself contains parts of the Half-Life fanfiction Quarter-Life: Halfway to Destruction, where the antagonist steals an isotope and claims that it will cause a meltdown in Dallas, unless the protagonists agree to his demands (though he says "TOO LATE" immediately after that, and the meltdown happens anyway). The vocals are taken from a video adaptation of the fanfic.
  • The remix of Galaxy Man's theme is also played in The Pit of Pits, at Galaxy Man's Lemonade Stand.
  • Though otherwise absent from Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, he is alluded to by the Blader NPC in Mega City when spoken to, though he is only referenced as, "a mute lunatic dwelling in the sewers".
