Cut Man is a boss from the original Mega Man. He was originally designed as a lumber-cutting robot, before being reprogrammed by Dr. Wily to fight.

In both Make a Good Mega Man Level and Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, he appears as an NPC in Dr. Light's Lab. In the latter game, however, he is also a devkit boss, albeit one that went unused aside from a single appearance in The Pit of Pits. He remains in The Arena, however - completing this mode also unlocks him as a costume.

Battle

Cut Man has a simple AI, running across the arena and jumping when Mega Man gets close, unless he is about to use the Rolling Cutter. If he is hit by Mega Man when he is on the ground or a set amount of time passes, he will ready and throw the Rolling Cutter at Mega Man.
