Nitro Man is a Robot Master from Mega Man 10. A bold and daring stunt robot who starred in many films and TV shows, Nitro Man was one of many robots who went berserk in the Roboenza outbreak, becoming one of Dr. Wily's minions for a while.
In Make a Good Mega Man Level and its remake, he appears as an NPC in Tier 2, both times lamenting the geography's unfriendliness towards driving.
Although not a devkit boss, Nitro Man nonetheless has a noticeable presence in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, beyond an appearance as an NPC in Chateau Chevaleresque. He appears in the entry Rad Gravity as a gimmick, where his motorbike form can be driven, and is one of four Robot Masters Mega Man transforms into in the winning level, Identity Crisis. This latter role is repeated in the Wily stage Reality Core, both in the Tier 9-10 section and during the fight against Wily Machine SWORD.
By contrast, Nitro Man's role in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 was more in line with his appearance in MaGMML1; he only serves as a minor NPC, found in Tier 13.
Behaviour
In Rad Gravity, Nitro Man will follow after Mega Man, jumping up platforms to keep up with him if need be. He will teleport to Mega Man's location upon entering a new section or by holding Up and pressing Jump. By doing this latter button combination on Nitro Man himself, he will transform into his motorbike form and can be driven. This state grants Mega Man significantly increased movement speed, along with the unique ability to drive up and down walls and along ceilings, defying gravity. However, Nitro Man has no protection from spikes whatsoever, and touching them whilst driving him will result in a one-hit kill, as per usual.
