- "Cardinal Man will not be joining us due to technical difficulties. Sorry. He got Chill Man and Big Eye to fill in for him. Chill Man refuses to touch the Energy Element"
- ―a sign, Cardinal Man
Chill Man is a boss from Mega Man 10. Built to stop glacial melting caused by global warming, he is infected with Roboenza, goes berserk, and eventually revealed to be controlled by Dr. Wily during the game events. He was included in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2's developer kit as an example of a boss with an attack that could freeze Mega Man in place. He appears in 3 levels: the Tier 1 level Cardinal Man and the Tier 6 levels Crystal Lab and Nitrogen Man. He also appears in the intro for Misty Lake, although he isn't in the stage itself.
Battle
Chill Man mimics the Hard Mode incarnation of his AI from Mega Man 10. He will run back and forth around the arena, occasionally jumping. Sometimes, he will use one of the following attacks:
- Chill Man will fire 2 or 3 Chill Spikes out of a buster.
- Chill Man will jump into the air and fire five Chill Spikes downward in a fan shape.
