- "A classic enemy that definitely isn't a Bullet Bill. Will move in a wave towards Mega Man, and on death, will explode."
- ―Note in Killer Bullet's code, Megamix Engine
Killer Bullet is an enemy from the original Mega Man. It is a self-propelled bomb that moves in a sine wave.
Killer Bullet was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level, where it appeared in the entry Sky Ziggurat. In Make a Good Mega Man Level Remastered, Killer Bullets also appear as projectiles created by Wily Machine TROPHY's first form.
Killer Bullet returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Rush City, SMB3, Taco Man, Shovel Knight, and Volcanic Furnace, as well as the Wily stages Outer Space and Reality Core, the Tier X levels Nightwalk Castle and So Good, and the Pit of Pits sub-levels "Gutsy" and "Rise to the Challenge".
Behavior
Killer Bullets will simply fly forward in a sine wave. When shot, they release an explosion that can damage Mega Man (except in Make a Good Mega Man Level, where it is completely harmless like every other exploding object). Following the release of the Megamix Engine, this explosion changed from the standard large explosion used in Mega Man 3 onwards to its original, larger Mega Man iteration.
By default, Killer Bullets have red fins and mouths, but changing the "col" variable in creation code allow it to change colours (col = 1 gives it blue accents, and col = 2 gives it orange accents).
