Green Star
Green Stars are green star-shaped bonus collectibles in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2 and Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 that appear when activating the Green Star Mode cheat.
Make a Good Mega Man Level 2
A total of 314 Green Stars will appear in the game, with every stage (except for The Fall and Outer Space) having three each, including the secret levels Twilight Lodge and City War. Null and Void also has three Green Stars, but each one is hidden in a different room across its many floors. Additionally, every tier hub except Tier X will have one Green Star hidden within it.
Like Noble Nickels, the difficulty of obtaining each Green Star varies, but they tend to be harder to find and/or collect on average (with some requiring the use of Contest Weapons). Notably, Super Mode is disabled while Green Star Mode is active, and their locations aren't given on the Level Mapper, adding to the difficulty of finding them all (though other cheats, like infinite ammo, invincibility, and air sliding, can still be used).

- The Tier 6 level Changeable Caverns has three Green Stars, but they aren’t displayed on the teleporter entrance due to a bug, and can be re-collected multiple times.
Make a Good Mega Man Level 3
A total of 1,055 Green Stars (still referred to as such despite now being silver) appear in this game - five in every legitimate level (not counting Ladder Hell), and 25 in the Shrine of Nebula. Some of these stars are locked behind time challenges; They are neither visible nor tangible until a similarly-hidden button in the same section is pressed, and only for the duration indicated by a timer in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Many more cheats are disabled for this game’s "Green Star Mode" than that of its predecessor. If any "Power Cheats", Hyper Knockback, Warp Step, Cosmic Comet, Bouncing Quakes, Boost Mode -E-, Boost Mode -G-, Bouncing Weaons, OH JOES! Coil, or Omni Chip are active at the same time, they will be disabled right before the start of a level, with a message at the bottom indicating as much.

Trivia
Green Stars are lifted from Super Mario Galaxy 2, where they are bonus collectables (typically placed in hidden or hard to reach areas) that appear in every level after beating the game with all Power Stars collected. They were added by snoruntpyro as a purposefully "evil horrible collectable", with the connection to Super Mario Galaxy 2's Green Stars being made later on in development.

- The MaGMML3 redesign makes them look like “Silver Stars” from the same game, which always come in groups of five.
- When Green Star Mode is turned on in MaGMML2, any 100% save files that haven't collected any Green Stars drop to 58%.
