Octone is an enemy from Mega Man 9. It is an ink-spitting octopus robot with an armoured body.

Octone was first made available with the Megamix Engine, and subsequently the devkits for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level.

Behavior

Octone is a stationary enemy that hides in its body until Mega Man either gets close enough to it, or shoots the body. When provoked, its head and tentacles will appear as it shoots an inkball at Mega Man, before retreating back into its body. If Mega Man is hit by the inkball, he will be coloured pitch black.
