The Homing Sniper (ホーミングスナイパー Hōmingu Sunaipā) is Search Man's Special Weapon from Mega Man 8. It is a missile that homes in on enemies on-screen (indicated by a crosshair). The weapon can be charged to fire up to six missiles at once; the crosshairs will appear over enemies as Mega Man is charging.

Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level[edit]
The Homing Sniper is one of the weapons in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, included to test homing/targeting weapons. The weapon functions the same as in Mega Man 8. It inflicts 2 points of damage to enemies, and has no special damage values.
