Roll is a kind-hearted humanoid robot created by Dr. Light, and the "little sister" of Mega Man and Proto Man. Built as a housekeeping robot, she helps around Dr. Light's Laboratory by cleaning and cooking meals. As a prominent (if minor) character in the Classic series, Roll has appeared often in the Make a Good Mega Man Level games, in similarly minor roles.

MaGMML Series Appearances[edit]
Make a Good Mega Man Level (Remastered)[edit]
In the original MaGMML, Roll appears as an NPC in Dr. Light's Lab, where she reminds Mega Man to use his Special Weapons. After the main game is beaten, her dialogue changes to tell the player about the Arena in the attic.
In Remastered, Roll runs the game's costume shop, much like in MaGMML2. In addition to Proto Man, Bass, and custom costume options, she also sells a costume of herself. Considering that dialogue boxes are altered to contain Roll's name, and that Mega Man takes her place as the shopkeeper when her costume is selected, it is less of a costume and more of a character swap. Regardless, she and the other costumes play identically to Mega Man.
Make a Good Mega Man Level 2[edit]
Roll, for the first time in the series chronologically, appears as the owner and shopkeeper of the costume shop, located between Tier 4 and Tier 5. Roll, much like in MaGMML1R, sells a costume of herself inside the shop. Also like in MaGMML1R, Mega Man runs the costume shop while she is gone, and she is treated as a different character when talking to NPCs. Roll notably has different dialogue from Mega Man when talking to Proto Man, Kalinka, Ice Man, and Oil Man.
Make a Good Mega Man Level 3[edit]
Roll stays in the hotel room in Victor Heights, where she explains the mechanics of the new plushie collectibles. She accepts spare capsules from Mega Man in exchange for new ones.
Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level[edit]
For the entire game, Roll stays in Dr. Light's cabin on the SS Elroy as an NPC, whose dialogue changes as the game progresses. A costume of her is sold inside Double Action Boutique, which is also said to receive its stock from her costume selling business, which has grown substantially since MaGMML2. When the Roll costume is in use, she is replaced by Rock (who has his own dialogue in cutscenes and when talked to).
Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero[edit]
Roll only makes a minor cameo appearance in the credits. She is seen talking to Dr. Light and Auto before running off through MaGMML2's festival grounds.
Notably, while the Roll costume returns from previous MaGMML games, equipping it in this game does not cause Roll to change into Rock.
