Cirno is a character from the Touhou series of video games. She is a fairy with the ability to manipulate cold. In the Touhou series, she generally serves as an early-game boss or midboss, though she has also made several appearances as a playable character, even serving as the protagonist of one game.
In Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, Cirno appears as an NPC in Just an Ice Level and Tier 9, as well as the boss of Misty Lake. Defeating her with only the Mega Buster unlocks the Marisa costume.
In Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, Cirno appears as an unlockable costume. The custom costume option must be purchased to play as her, as she is found in the custom costume selection list as an example of a custom costume.
Battle[edit]
Cirno's arena has a spike pit in the middle, slightly covered up by Chill Man blocks that float up from the bottom of the screen. Cirno herself will fly in a figure 8 formation while periodically using one of the following attacks:
- Create three circles of small blue projectiles. Each circle will home in on Mega Man shortly after being created, with the bullets losing their circle formation as they home in.
- Create three circles of ice shards that move outwards shortly after being created. The position of the shards will be different between circles, forcing Mega Man to pay close attention as he moves between them.
- Fire a spread of four small ring-shaped projectiles at Mega Man.
Cirno does not deal contact damage, but the nature of her attacks makes her dangerous to stand near regardless.

Trivia[edit]
- Cirno's battle in Misty Lake is a reference to Touhou Mother, a Touhou fangame inspired by the Earthbound series (which is known as Mother in Japan). At one point in the game, Cirno is fought wearing a red scarf, with the music for her battle being a mashup between the Embodiment of Scarlet Devil track "Beloved Tomboyish Girl" (Cirno's battle theme from the game, which is also considered her theme in the Touhou series as a whole), and the Mother 3 track "Unfounded Revenge". Cirno wears the same red scarf during her battle in Misty Lake, and the theme that plays when fighting her is an 8-bit rendition of the aforementioned battle theme from Touhou Mother.
