Top Man is a boss from Mega Man 3. He is a robot built by Dr. Light and Dr. Wily who is able to spin at high speeds for a limited period of time.
Top Man appears in Make a Good Mega Man Level as an NPC in Dr. Light's Lab. He was later made available as a boss in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, and appeared as a midboss in Quint Stage, as well as an NPC in Tier 6. He reappears in Make a Good 24 Hour Mega Man Level as the boss of Nauseous Greenhouse.
As with all MaGMML2 devkit bosses, he returned in the Megamix Engine, available for use in all games made with it. In Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, he appeared as the boss of Spicy Top Action (alongside Solar Man), and in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, he appears as a boss in Pick Your Poison; the latter game also features him as an NPC in Tier 5.
Top Man begins his pattern by throwing three spinning tops into the air, which float briefly before targeting Mega Man. Top Man will then spin in place for a short period of time before moving to the other side of the room, after which he will stop spinning and repeat his pattern. Top Man is invulnerable to most weapons while spinning.
