Dennis is a recurring miniboss in the Make a Good Mega Man Level series. While initially appearing as a regular Metall, shooting him reveals that he is able to transform into a wide variety of Mets before eventually being defeated.

In Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, Dennis can be found in the entry Launch Man & Shuttle Man, where he possesses a key needed to claim the stage's fourth Noble Nickel. After unlocking the key door in his room, Mega Man can read a sign that reveals Dennis' motive; he longs to impress Dr. Wily with his transformation abilities, although Wily had not yet noticed him regardless, much to his disappointment.

Dennis returns in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, this time appearing in the entry Metall Man's Metall Factory; like before, he guards a barrier blocking off an important collectable, in this case a Trickster Token. He behaves in much the same way as before, with a sign beyond the key door revealing that Dennis has given up on trying to get Dr. Wily's attention, and was taken in by Metall Man to learn more transformations.

Behavior

Dennis transforms between several kinds of Metall, shifting forms when the current form loses its HP. His behaviour in each form is identical to its regular enemy version. In order, Dennis' transformations in MaGMML2 are a Metall, Neo Metall, Metall EX, Metall Dance, Metall Cannon, Metall K1000, Space Metall, and the grounded version of Metall DX.

In MaGMML3, Dennis has twelve transformations as opposed to eight, and each has more HP than normal. His first eight forms are the same as in MaGMML2 (albeit in a different order), while his last four forms are the newly added Metall Run and Gun, Neo Heli Metall, Numetall, and Security Metall.

Trivia

• In MaGMML3, Dennis is at risk of clipping through surfaces when transitioning from Metall EX to Metall Dance if defeated while on the ground.
