Peat is an enemy from Mega Man 6. It is a robot bird modeled after Beat that hatches from eggs.
Peat was first made available in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the Pit of Pits sub-level "Typical Miniboss Fights".
Contents
Behavior
Peats will slowly rise up from their spawning position while inside an egg. If the egg reaches a certain position or takes damage, it will hatch, and the Peat inside will fly towards Mega Man.
Peats will be spawned regardless of how many are destroyed or fly off-screen. The only way to stop the Peats from despawning is to put an X Block over their spawning point.
