―Note in Gorilla Tank's code, Megamix Engine

Gorilla Tank is a midboss from Mega Man 6. True to its name, it is a giant gorilla robot that moves on treads.

Gorilla Tank was first made available in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Airflow Hubble and Cursor Curse, as well as the Pit of Pits sub-level "Tselinoyarsk 20XX".

Behavior

Gorilla Tank will slowly move forward, periodically stopping to perform one of two attacks:

  • Fire its right hand forward to punch Mega Man.
  • Fire a cluster of five small projectiles one at a time, starting at the lowest angle and ending at the highest.

Gorilla Tank can only be damaged by hitting its head, but firing at its left hand will push it backwards slightly.
