Darspider is an enemy from Mega Man 9. It is a smaller version of Deispider that jumps based on its proximity to enemies.

Darspider was first made available with the Megamix Engine, and subsequently the devkits for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level.

Behavior

Darspider crawls along ceilings until Mega Man draws close to them, at which point it drops to the ground and pursues him by jumping. If Mega Man is far enough away from it, it will only do one jump before pausing, but it will jump twice in a row if it's close enough to him.
