"The Gemini Laser is actually segmented, so on rare occasions it can multi-hit enemies."
Gemini Man, in Dr. Light's Lab.

The Gemini Laser (ジェミニレーザー Jemini Rēzā) is Gemini Man's Special Weapon from Mega Man 3. It is a relatively slow-moving laser that reflects off walls, ceilings, and floors at a 45° angle. Only one Gemini Laser may be on the screen at a time, and it will dissipate after three to four seconds, or if it collides with an enemy it cannot destroy instantly.

Make a Good Mega Man Level

The Gemini Laser was one of the weapons voted into Make a Good Mega Man Level by the Talkhaus community, tying with nine other weapons in vote count (3 votes); the tie was broken by putting the weapons in a random number generator and picking the first five weapons on the generated list (the other four weapons chosen this way were Metal Blade, Solar Blaze, Black Hole Bomb, and Magic Card). The laser is segmented, so it may damage enemies multiple times in a single hit and gradually shorten in length. Several of the sturdier enemies can be destroyed in one or two hits with the Gemini Laser, including Lantern Fish, Hari Harry, Picket Man, Komasaburo, Sniper Armor, and Tama.

Gemini Blocks can only be destroyed by a direct hit from Gemini Laser. Rebounded shots will treat Gemini Blocks like regular walls.

Make a Good Mega Man Level Remastered

In Make a Good Mega Man Level Remastered, Gemini Laser returned with the changes made to the weapon in the Megamix Engine (see below). While Jolt Man is no longer present, and the weapon is no longer effective against The Moon, it is now the weakness of Yoku Man.

Megamix Engine

Alongside almost every other MaGMML weapon, the Gemini Laser is present in the Megamix Engine, buffed further from its Make a Good Mega Man Level appearance. In addition to retaining its segmented multihitting properties, the laser is now longer, similar to its appearance in Mega Man Maker. Reflected lasers are now capable of breaking Destroyable Blocks vulnerable to the Gemini Laser, eliminating the need for a direct hit. The weapon is also included in the engine's Example Game, and is obtained by defeating Gemini Man.

Typically, the weapon deals 1 point of damage to enemies per hit, but enemies categorized as "Semi Bulky" take 3 points of damage from it instead.
