"A crab from Venus's stage that shoots large bubbles. If they touch Mega Man, he'll get trapped inside and must break out as the bubble carries him along."
―Note in Feeber's code, Megamix Engine

Feeber is an enemy from Mega Man V. It is a crab robot with a hatch in its chest that dispenses large bubbles.

Feeber was first available with the release of the Megamix Engine, and appeared in the devkits for all games built with it. It debuted in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, appearing in the entries Ancient Ziggurat, Ice Treatment Facility, and Through the Crabacombs. It returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3; in the entries House of Fun, Chemical Industry, Wily Rooms of Weapons, and It Was Rated Arr, the Contest Weapon Playground, the NEO Pit of Pits sublevels "Bubble Trouble" and "The Only Prescription", and the Shrine of Nebula room "Restored Beta".

Behavior

Feebers stand still and periodically blow giant bubbles from their chest, though they only do so if a bubble already blown isn't still present. The bubble travels forwards, stopping only when dropping downwards. Not only can the bubble serve as a shield for Feebers, but if Mega Man touches it, he will be trapped inside it and subject to its movement. Though it pops after an amount of time, he can break free by shooting, jumping, or sliding.
