Tom Boy is an enemy from Mega Man 4. It is a small robot modeled after a Slinky.

Tom Boy was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level, but it did not appear anywhere in that game.

Tom Boy returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entry Guts Man's Asteroid, as well as the Pit of Pits sub-levels "Night of Semiramis" and "Reserved Forest", and in Null and Void. No entries in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level used Tom Boy, but a single one appears as an NPC in Tier 9.

In Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, Tom Boy appeared in the entry Bold and Trash, as well as the NEO Pit of Pits sublevels "Child's Play", "Extreme Spring Cleaning", "Laser Precision", and "Parallel Tondeall 2 DX EX's Revenge".

Behavior

Tom Boys will slowly move forwards, turning around if they hit a wall. If a Tom Boy detects a ledge with lower ground close to it, it will drop down; otherwise, it will turn around.
