Lantern Fish is a midboss from Mega Man 2. It is a large angler fish robot originally created for deep sea exploration.

Lantern Fish was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level contest, where it appeared in the entries Napalm Forest and Caves and Maze of Death.

Lantern Fish returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Something Original, The Dampening, and Candy Panic.

Behavior

A Lantern Fish will lay idle, spawning Shrinks at a consistent rate. It can only be damaged by hitting its light.
