"Big robot snail that aims bombs and his own eyes at Megaman"
―Note in Escaroo's code, Megamix Engine

Escaroo is a midboss from Mega Man 4. It is a giant snail robot with detachable eyes.

Escaroo was first made available in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Poorly Named Level and Cursor Curse.

Behavior

Escaroo will randomly pick between one of two attacks:

  • Fire a bomb in an arc, creating a harmful explosion upon contact.
  • Detatch its eyes and ram them into Mega Man before sending them back to its eye stalks.

Escaroo can only be damaged by hitting its eyes when they're open.
