- "Big robot snail that aims bombs and his own eyes at Megaman"
- ―Note in Escaroo's code, Megamix Engine
Escaroo is a midboss from Mega Man 4. It is a giant snail robot with detachable eyes.
Escaroo was first made available in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Poorly Named Level and Cursor Curse. It would go on to make further appearances in the Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level entries Running Down a Drain and Twilight Fortress, and the Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 entries Bright Man Remix, Creatively Named Level, and mechanical factory.
Contents
Behavior
Escaroo will randomly pick between one of two attacks:
- Fire a bomb in an arc, creating a harmful explosion upon contact.
- Detatch its eyes and ram them into Mega Man before sending them back to its eye stalks.
Escaroo can only be damaged by hitting its eyes when they're open.
