Komasaburo is an enemy from Mega Man 3. It is a modified Fan Fiend that dispenses tops from its abdomen.
Komasaburo was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level contest, where it appeared in the entries The Quickening and Midnight Snow. It returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in twelve entries, as well as the Wily stages Classic Castle, Inner Sanctum, and Reality Core, the Tier X stages The Quickening 2, the Pit of Pits rooms "Big Toilet", "da ba dee da ba di", "No Room To Breathe", "Sandstorm Base", "Spinning Top Disposal Room", and "The Top 10 Most Commonly Used Enemies, In Increasing Order" (where it is placed as number seven), and Null and Void.
Behavior
Komasaburos will stand in place, periodically dispensing tops that move along the ground. In MaGMML1, the tops will continue moving along the ground until they touch a wall, in which case they will be destroyed. Starting in MaGMML2, the tops act more like they do in Mega Man 3, as they will turn around upon making contact with a surface, but despawn a certain period of time after being dispensed.
