Tamp is an enemy from Mega Man V. It is a teleporting press robot that uses small jets to fly.

Tamp was first available with the release of the Megamix Engine, and thusly appeared in the devkits for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level. Its first appearance in a game was in Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, where it appeared in Null and Void. It would go on to appear in the MaG48HMML entries Minari Hydrospace Center and Frigid Inferno, as well as the Cartel Hideout stage Pandora's Parlor.

Behavior

Tamp flies upwards a small distance, teleports out of sight, then reappears above Mega Man in an attempt to drop down on him. Once landing, it will repeat the cycle constantly.
