Lantern Fish is a midboss from Mega Man 2. It is a large angler fish robot originally created as a mobile deep sea exploration base. To cut costs, Dr. Wily made it immobile.

Lantern Fish was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level, where it appeared in the entries Napalm Forest and Caves and Maze of Death.

Lantern Fish returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Something Original, The Dampening, and Candy Panic. It made another appearance in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, in the entry Scissors 'n Shrimps.

In Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, Lantern Fish appeared in the entries Not Delivering On Promises, The Cave Level That Exists, and Hazard Hydro, as well as the NEO Pit of Pits sublevel "Masquerade Ball" (where it is dressed as a Paozo).

Behavior
