―Note in Boostun's code, Megamix Engine

Boostun is an enemy from Mega Man V. It is a rocket-powered robot that attacks with divebomb attacks and missiles.

Boostun was first present in Megamix Engine, and thus appeared in the devkits for all games to use it; the first of which was Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, in which it appeared in Psionic Space Station and Null and Void. Boostuns reappeared in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, and were used in the entries Hopping High Above Danger, Asinine Factory, and Just a Space Level, as well as the Box Cartel level Pandora's Parlor.

In Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, Boostun's only appearances were the entry Secluded Terminal, and the NEO Pit of Pits sublevels "Icy Ceiling", "In Good Hands", and "The Dachone Hangar".

Behavior

Boostuns start by walking towards Mega Man, until they either walk off an edge or get close enough to him. Once they do, they fly into the air and fire a missile at him in one of several directions. If the missile remains onscreen after a period of time, Boostun chases slowly after Mega Man until the missile is destroyed or goes away, whereupon it stops and fires another missile after a small while.
