Ballonboo is an enemy from Mega Man 9. It is a robot that floats in the air with the use of a hot air balloon.
Ballonboo was first made available with the Megamix Engine, and subsequently the devkits for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level. Its game debut was Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, where it was used in Skyhigh Ridge and Null and Void.
Contents
Behavior
Ballonboo floats up and down while frequently firing projectiles at Mega Man. If its balloon is hit, it will pop open and send Ballonboo flying across the screen in an attempt to slam into Mega Man, after which it will go offscreen. If Ballonboo itself is destroyed without popping the balloon, the balloon will harmlessly float off the top of the screen.
