Sibul is an enemy from Mega Man V. It is a flying enemy similar in construction to Nibul, only armed with an explosive instead of a toxin injector.

Sibul was first available with the release of the Megamix Engine, and thusly appeared in the devkits for all games using it. The first MaGMML game to use Sibul was Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, where it appeared in the levels Stormy Spire and Null and Void. Sibuls were absent from all Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level entries, but they are still used in the final game as one of Don Atetemino's enemy summons. In Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, Sibul appeared in the entries Chemical Industry and Falling System Core, as well as the NEO Pit of Pits sublevel "Nasty Gear".

Behavior

Sibul flies after Mega Man relentlessly, slowing down when close to the last spot he was in before it started moving. Destroying Sibul causes it to release a harmful explosion that deals serious damage to Mega Man. It will not explode if a weapon with a kill override ability (e.g. the Tornado Blow, Slash Claw, or Black Hole Bomb) is used to defeat it. A hidden countdown ticks while Sibul is active, and once it hits zero, it will detonate on its own without dropping an item.

By default, the number of frames it takes Sibul to explode is 720 (twelve seconds); this amount can be altered with creation code.
