The Ice Slasher (アイススラッシャー Aisu Surasshā) is Ice Man's Special Weapon from the original Mega Man. It is a wave of ice that can freeze enemies and pierce through them, but cannot damage them (aside from some bosses). It can also freeze Fire Pillars, allowing Mega Man to stand on them temporarily.
Megamix Engine
The Ice Slasher is one of the weapons to appear in the Megamix Engine. It can no longer pierce enemies, but it is now capable of dealing damage. It retains its ability to freeze Fire Pillars, but now it can also freeze Magma Beams.
