"This crow will blink and then shoot at MM. If you're hit by the bullet, it will mock you."
―Note in Cyorown's code, Megamix Engine

Cyorown is an enemy from Mega Man 7. It is an incredibly rude robotic crow with a penchant for taunting its enemies.

Cyorown was first available with the release of the Megamix Engine, and thusly appeared in the devkits for all games using it. The first game to use Cyorown was Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, and it was used in Gusty Gorge, The Red Woods, Shift Posting, and Null and Void. It also appeared in the Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level entries Through the Crabacombs and Just a Space Level, as well as in the Weapon Tutorials.

In Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, Cyorown was used in the entries Mediocre Oil Level, Ruins of a Forbidden Kingdom, and Banshee Woman, as well as the Contest Weapon Playground and the NEO Pit of Pits sublevels "Crows Before Joes" and "Defying Gravity".

Behavior

Cyorowns sit on their poles and occasionally fire shots directly at Mega Man. If one such shot hits him, the Cyorown that fired it will taunt him via laughing and shaking its tail at him before repeating its attack cycle. This taunting, however, leaves it open to retaliation.
