―Note in Classical Cannon's code, Megamix Engine

Classical Cannon is an enemy from Mega Man 9. It is a cannon that can shoot explosive balls and aim within 90 degrees.

Classical Cannon was first made available with the Megamix Engine, and subsequently the devkits for all games built with it. Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero was the first released game to include it, where it appeared in the level Rainbow Ravine. It would go on to appear in the Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level entries Cloudy City and Braving New Depths.

Classical Cannon returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, but the only entry to use it was My First Megamix Level uwu xd lmao (dab). It would, however, see additional usage in the Contest Weapon Playground, and the NEO Pit of Pits sublevels "Biree!!! on ICE", "Cannon Corridor", and "Snake Way".

Behavior

Classical Cannon attacks by shooting arcing cannonballs at regular intervals. These cannonballs will explode on contact with a solid object. It moves its barrel to track Mega Man based on his position, but is incapable of changing directions or aiming behind itself, meaning they are completely defenceless if he gets behind them. By flipping them upside down in the room editor, Classical Cannons can be placed onto ceilings.

By default, Classical Cannons are green, but setting "col = #" in a Classical Cannon's creation code will change its color (1 makes it blue, 2 makes it yellow, 3 makes it red).
