Nibul is an enemy from Mega Man V. It is a robotic wasp armed with a toxin-injecting stinger.
Niibul was first available with the release of the Megamix Engine, and subsequently appeared in the devkits for all games using the engine. The first MaGMML game to use Nibul was Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, where it appeared in Looping Growth Garden. It went on to appear in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level in the game's final level, Pandora's Parlor; and in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 in the NEO Pit of Pits sublevels "Beehave Yourselves", "Bug Spray", and "In Good Hands".
Contents
Behavior
Nibul flies in place for a small time before diving down at Mega Man. Once it reaches his level, it flies all the way up to the top of the screen, staying in a hard to reach position until it attacks again. If a Nibul collides with Mega Man, it injects a toxin into him that slows down his movement. Though the toxin's effects wear off over time, they can also be ended early by destroying the Nibul that injected him.
In creation code, users have the option of changing Nibul's sprite with a yellow version of its original Mega Man V sprite, named "Jupibul".

Notes
- Nibul's default sprite is slightly redrawn from its original Mega Man V sprite, with a different eye that looks more obviously cycloptic. Though the original sprite was intended to convey a single detailed eye, it is easy to mistake it for two smaller eyes. The Jupibul sprite keeps the old eye design intact.
- The "Jupibul" sprite was originally intended to be Nibul's default Megamix sprite, with its yellow color chosen to distinguish it from the purple Sibul (and be a subtle reference to Hornet Man). While a more artwork-accurate palette would be used, the original sprite was kept as an easter egg; the name "Jupibul" is a homage to MaGMML2 judge and Hornet Man enthusiast JupiHornet.
