- "An enemy from Hornet Man's stage. Will start as two pieces of a scissor that attempt to combine by smashing into each other, and once combined, the full scissor will dash at Mega Man until it goes offscreen. It then loops back around the screen for another run at the player."
- ―Note in Scissascissor's code, Megamix Engine
Scissascissor is an enemy from Mega Man 9. It is a pair of blade-tipped robots that combine into a pair of giant scissors.
Scissascissor was first made available with the Megamix Engine, and subsequently the devkits for Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 and Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level. A single Scissascissor made its debut in the Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero level String Theory, but was more of a teaching tool for a custom gimmick than an actual enemy. It would eventually be used as an active enemy in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, in the entries The Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Room and Scissors 'n Shrimps.
Scissascissor returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, and was used in the entry X6Meme, the Wily stage Armory Catastrophe, and the NEO Pit of Pits sublevels "Enough is Enough", "Hard Example", and "Snippy Garden".

Behavior
Scissascissor flies onscreen in two pieces, before flying in diagonal directions to meet in the middle and combine into one robot. This robot then flies straight ahead, before reversing direction after going off the edge of the screen. The individual parts are less durable than the combined form, and if one part is destroyed, the other will simply fly offscreen.
