"The base of their pole vault is invulnerable to attack and shields them while they charge Mega Man. The pole vault can be destroyed once the Bubukan dismount."
―Note in Bubukan's code, Megamix Engine

Bubukan is an enemy from Mega Man 3. It is a pole-vaulting robot with a spring for a torso.

Bubukan was first made available in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Mix & Match, Something Original, and Jungle Base, as well as in Null and Void. In Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, it also appeared in that game's Null and Void.

Behavior

Bubukan will run forward. When it gets close enough, it will leap from its pole vault, then continue running in Mega Man's direction.

By default, Bubukans are orange, but by setting "col = 1" in creation code, they will turn red.
