Wishing Star's pattern is simple, but still difficult to dodge. He will start by creating a barrier of stars around him, charging to the opposite side of the room, and firing the stars out in a spiral motion. Wishing Star may repeat the latter two attacks once or twice. After having used his charging and star spiral attack one to three times, Wishing Star will then shoot three stars forward at varying angles before his pattern starts from the beginning.
Wishing Star's room has low gravity and a spiked ceiling, which adds another obstacle to avoid, and makes it more difficult to hit Wishing Star with his weakness, Sakugarne.
- As of the release of Mega Man's Christmas Carol 3, Wishing Star is considered a part of that franchise and therefore has the CDN number scheme, despite appearing in MaGMML2 first.
- Wishing Star makes a cameo appearance in Mega Man's Christmas Carol 3's ending sequence, as both part of the Robot Master roll call, and in Bass' ending.
