Sola 0 is an enemy from Mega Man 10. It is a mechanical sunflower that shields itself with solar energy and fires it in the form of a laser blast.
Sola 0 was first made available with the Megamix Engine, and subsequently the devkits for all games built with it. It first appeared in such a game with Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, where it was used in the levels Skyhigh Ridge and Refurbished Pyramid. It returned in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, in the entries Forest Castle, Warehouse of Conveyors, and Mystic Museum, as well as the game's Weapon Tutorials.
In Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, Sola 0 was used in the entries Temple of Light and Dark, Hunter Tower, Mediocre Oil Level, Solar Inferno, Mirror Woman, Robogarden, and Gravity Wumbo. It also appeared within the Contest Weapon Playground, and the NEO Pit of Pits sublevels "Burning Desire" and "Flowerfell Forest".
Behavior
Sola 0 is immobile, and spends much of its time with closed petals while charging up solar energy, which protects it from non-piercing weapons. Every so often, it opens up and fires its energy as a laser, leaving itself vulnerable for a few moments before it closes its petals and begins charging energy again.
