Heli Buton is an enemy from Mega Man 6. It is a forest patrol robot built by Dr. Light, and later modified for combat by Dr. Wily.

Heli Buton was first made available in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Chomp Man and Launch Man & Shuttle Man, as well as the Wily stage Reality Core. It also appeared in the Make a Good Mega Man Level 3 Judge Application Level Coptar Man, and the Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero levels The Red Woods and Looping Growth Garden.

Behavior

Heli Butons slowly fly after Mega Man, lacking any other offensive options. By setting "variation = 1" in a Heli Buton's creation code, it will play an animation of it suddenly appearing from foliage and flying downwards, as it did in Plant Man's stage in Mega Man 6.
