Penpen EV is an enemy from Mega Man 8. It is an upgraded Penpen that's larger and more durable.
Penpen EV was first made available in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entry A Mega Man for All Seasons and the Pit of Pits sub-level "Lyrickrolled". It reappeared in the Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero stages When Spike Drops Freeze Over and Null and Void, and while no stages used it in Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, Penpen EVs are one of several enemies Don Atetemino can summon from his boxes.
In Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, Penpen EV was used in the entries Wilys Redemption and Water Level? Ice Level?. The game also used it in the Contest Weapon Playground, and the NEO Pit of Pits sublevels "Club Penguin", "Getting Over It", "Freezer", "Frozen Frenzy", "Masquerade Ball", and "What a Toboggan!".
Behavior
Penpen EVs will spin in place, occasionally lying on their belly and sliding towards Mega Man before getting up again.
While spinning, Penpen EVs will be knocked back if damaged by a non-stunning weapon, with the momentum depending on the strength of the attack. Sliding into a wall will also knock it back with high momentum. In both situations, they will eventually slow back down to a standstill.

Notes
- The sprites Penpen EV uses in MaGMML2 come from Rockman 8 Famicom, a fangame that recreates Mega Man 8 in the style of the NES Mega Man games. In the Megamix Engine, it uses original sprites instead.
