Metall Potton is a midboss from Mega Man 6. It is a large Metall dispenser.
Metall Potton was first made available in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Quirky Unconsistent Incomprehensible Nonsensical Track and Airflow Hubble, as well as the Wily stage Reality Core and the Pit of Pits sub-levels "Greenhouse Effect" and "Typical Miniboss Fights". In Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level, it appears in the entries Taking a Dip and Orbital Assault.
Metall Potton returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, and was used in Cycle Facility, Ultimate Level, The Return of Veteran Z, Where no met has gone before, Military Training Grounds, and Metall Man's Metall Factory. It made extra appearances in the NEO Pit of Pits stages "Dr. Light's Plumbing Mishap", "Gimmicky Naming Scheme", and "Not So Ancient Sands".

Behavior
Metall Potton will randomly spawn one of two enemies selected in creation code (the defaults being Metall Run and Gun and Metall EX), waiting to spawn another until the one on-screen has been destroyed. For enemies that split into more enemies like Metall Mommy or enemies that take on a different form upon their initial "defeat" like Hell Metall DX, the Metall Potton will only take into account the initial defeat (for Metall Mommy, this means the next enemy will be spawned while Baby Metalls are still on-screen, and for Hell Metall DX, the next enemy will be spawned once the treads have been destroyed). The dispenser itself can normally only be damaged from the bottom, but piercing weapons such as Slash Claw can damage other parts of it as well.
