Big Stomper is an enemy from Mega Man 9. It is a large robot capable of jumping great heights.
Big Stomper was a custom enemy in the original Make a Good Mega Man Level and its remake, where it appeared in the entry Wily Combo with a modified version of its Mega Man 9 sprites. This version of Big Stomper, however, was little more than a reskinned Big Eye.
As a devkit enemy, Big Stomper was first included in the Megamix Engine, and looks and behaves more like it does in Mega Man 9. The first game to use Big Stomper was Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, in Null and Void. It then appeared in the Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level entries Wily Station and Scissors 'n Shrimps.

Behavior
In the original MaGMML, Big Stomper (as a sprite swap of Big Eye) will jump towards Mega Man constantly, randomly deciding between performing a short hop and a high jump. Even with Big Eye's improved behaviour in Make a Good Mega Man Level Remastered, Big Stomper acts exactly the same as it did in the original game.
Post-Megamix Engine, Big Stomper's short hops now cover more distance, and it is more animated in general, matching its Mega Man 9 appearance more closely overall.
By default, Big Stompers are orange, but setting "col = #" in a Big Stomper's creation code will change its color (1 makes it blue, 2 makes it green).
