Cannon Joe is an enemy from Mega Man 6. It is a Sniper Joe in a rotating seat with a cannon on the front.
Cannon Joe was first made available in the devkit for the original Make a Good Mega Man Level, where it appeared in the entries Chroma Key, Sunset Siege, Wily Combo (where it had a special sprite), Napalm Forest and Caves, Maze of Death, and Thunderclyffe Plant, as well as the Wily stage Flashback Database.
Cannon Joe returned in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it appeared in the entries Chomp Man, Crystal Lab, Conveyor Mayhem, and The Stage Nobody Asked For, as well as the Pit of Pits room "Paradrop". It also appeared in the MaGMML: Episode Zero levels Stormy Spire and Null and Void.
Contents
Behavior
Cannon Joes simply stay in a single place, periodically shooting an angled projectile at Mega Man when he gets close enough to them. Unlike most Sniper Joes, they lack any sort of shield and can be taken out very easily.
