Cutting Wheel is an enemy from Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge. It is a disc-shaped robot with sharp edges.
Cutting Wheel was first made available in the devkit for Make a Good Mega Man Level 2, where it didn't appear in any entries, but appeared in the Wily stages Classic Castle and Reality Core, the Tier X stage Swiss Hotel, the Pit of Pits sub-levels "A Warehouse of Scissors" and "Lyrickrolled", and in Null and Void. They also appeared in the Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero levels When Spike Drops Freeze Over and Null and Void, and the Make a Good 48 Hour Mega Man Level stages One Night in Xanadu, Central Computer, and Pandora's Parlor.
In Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, Cutting Wheels appeared in the entries Cycle Facility, Toxic Trouble, Cutman's New Warehouse, The Warped Void, Shape Woman, Wily Rooms of Weapons, Beat the Security System, and Geek Man. The same game also used them in the Contest Weapon Playground, and the NEO Pit of Pits sublevels "Cossack's Arcade", "Flopside Pit", and "Quick, Think Fast!".

Behavior
Cutting Wheel comes in three varieties: Regular, chase, and stationary.
The regular variety hangs in the air at first, but will drop down and slowly roll forward when Mega Man gets close enough.
The chase variety hangs in the air at first like the regular variety, but when Mega Man gets close, it will drop down and chase him while staying on the ground.
The stationary variety will only hang in the air, not even moving if Mega Man gets close.
