Yoku Man is a boss from the fangame Mega Man Unlimited. In his game, his stage and weapon can only be accessed if Mega Man collects four plates that spell out "YOKU", beats all of the main Robot Master stages, and selects the middle portrait on the stage select screen as Yoku Man's mugshot flashes on it. Yoku Man is named for the Yoku Block gimmick, with his attacks centering around the use of said gimmick, as well as similar illusions such as faking his death.

Make a Good Mega Man Level

Yoku Man appears in the original Make a Good Mega Man Level as the boss of Tier 3, much to Mega Man's dismay. He has been greatly toned down from his appearance in Mega Man Unlimited.

Battle

Yoku Man will randomly use one of the following moves:

• Shoot a glowing cube at Mega Man.
• Jump forward.
• Summon four glowing cubes at the top of the room, which home in on Mega Man shortly after appearing.
• Trap Mega Man in a Yoku Block formation. Mega Man can avoid being trapped by hurrying away from his initial position once the audio cue plays.
• Summon a pair of glowing cubes that bounce diagonally along the edges of the room.
• Teleport off-screen, then summon 11 spikes that fall down from the top of the room and explode upon hitting the floor.
• Summon two copies of himself that periodically jump forward slightly before eventually disappearing. These copies do not hurt Mega Man.
• Summon a shadowy copy of himself that homes in on Mega Man, then hovers on top of him. This copy can be destroyed if it takes enough damage.

Mega Man: Oh no, Yoku Man?! Aah! All of the horrible memories of your stage are flooding back!

Yoku Man: Hahaha, that's EXACTLY why Wily revived me. Are you ready to face my illusions?!

Mega Man: NO

Yoku Man: Sucks for you, then! Time to die!

• Yoku Man's creator, Starsimsuniverse, encouraged the idea of the character potentially appearing in fangames other than Unlimited, leading to the character being described as a "public domain character" on occasion. While the accuracy of this description is somewhat questionable, Yoku Man still proudly declares himself to be a "public domain character" in MaGMML2.
