Shadow Gacha is a boss from Make a Good Mega Man Level Remastered. It is a giant enemy-dispensing robot modeled after Shadow the Hedgehog from the Sonic the Hedgehog series of video games.

It appears as the boss of Be the Bigger Person, replacing Shadow Morpher from the original game.

Battle

Shadow Gacha's pattern is basic, but relies heavily on random elements. It starts by dispensing one of the following enemies from a ball, all of which are invincible, and will spawn in front of Shadow Gacha unless stated otherwise:

  • A Bomb Thrown, which tosses four bombs, despawning shortly after tossing the fourth. While the Bomb Thrown is invincible, its bombs can be destroyed prematurely like a regular Bomb Thrown.
  • A Camon, which moves forward, turning around when it hits a wall the first time, and despawning when it hits a second wall.
  • A Croaker, which spits three Petit Kerogs that behave normally, and are not invincible like the Croaker itself. If the Petit Kerogs are all destroyed, the Croaker will spit more, though it and the Petit Kerogs despawn after a fixed amount of time regardless. The Croaker spawns next to the wall across from Shadow Gacha.
  • A Haehaey, which drops seven projectiles; three upon initially spawning, one right after it turns around a second time, and three as it flies off the side of the screen (where it despawns outside of the player's view).
  • A Returning Sniper Joe, which shoots three times before despawning.
  • A Screw Bomber, which shoots a spread of projectiles twice before despawning. The Screw Bomber spawns next to the wall across from Shadow Gacha.

It then uses one of the following attacks before restarting the pattern:

  • Jump once, reaching the other side of the room while descending, but before landing (Croaker and Screw Bomber).
  • Jump twice, reaching the other side of the room at the peak of the second jump (Bomb Thrown and Sniper Joe).
  • Crouch down, then charge to the other side of the room (Camon and Haehaey).

Unless Power Orb is used, Shadow Gacha can only be damaged by hitting the glass area on its back. When it moves to the other side of the room, it bumps into a wall, leaving itself stunned for long enough to leave this weak spot open.

Trivia

  • To match its visual resemblance to Shadow the Hedgehog, Shadow Gacha uses edited voice clips from said character at the start and end of the battle.
