Mega Man 3 is the third game in the classic Mega Man series. Following the surprise success of the second game, Mega Man 3 was produced within a relatively short time frame, which becomes apparent through several glitches and scrapped features within the game. Regardless, the game proved incredibly successful, being almost as notorious as Mega Man 2. The game introduced the sliding mechanic, as well as Mega Man's robotic canine companion Rush.
