The Laser Trident (レーザートライデント Rēzā Toraidento) is Splash Woman's Special Weapon from Mega Man 9. Mega Man shoots out a trident shaped laser which travels horizontally. It does two damage and up to three can be shot on screen at a time. The trident pierces shielded enemies ignoring them and doing direct damage as well as destroy certain blocks found thought stages.
Due to the fact it is stronger than an uncharged Mega Buster shot, it can also be used as a primary weapon for dealing with most enemies because of its low weapon energy consumption.
