The Z-Burst is one of Zero's weapons in Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, unlocked alongside the Z-Saber midway through Surveillance Canyon. With it, Zero shoots a spreadshot of four large energy orbs outwards. Each shot moves at a diagonal angle, and will pass through enemies even if they aren't destroyed by the shot. This, combined with its large range, makes it effective for quickly clearing screens of multiple enemies, and attacking targets out of the range of both the Z-Buster and Z-Saber.
By equipping one of the five elemental chips, the Z-Burst's properties will change accordingly, but will retain its basic appearance and function as a long-range spreadshot.
By default, the Z-Burst does two points of damage to all enemies. With a chip equipped, it can do more damage to specific enemies based on their category and the chip in use.
