Sophie Hyde

Dr. Sophie Hyde is an NPC introduced in Make a Good Mega Man Level 2. She is a scientist employed by the Festival Committee, and one of the creators of the Memory Simulation. Another project of hers is a Drive system that uses elemental-themed chips to alter the system's output. Despite her skill with simulation technology, she has a terrible habit of pulling all-nighters.
She reappears in a greatly expanded role in Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero, where she is one of Zero's allies. By calling her on the Z-Phone, she gives information on Zero's currently equipped weapon, and how it is affected by his currently equipped chip. However, she can also give information on how to use the weapon wheel or switch between chips, as well as give background information on her Drive system. He can also talk to her in-person in Mega City to find out what chips remain missing.

Game Appearances
Make a Good Mega Man Level 2
Referred to only as "Scientist", Dr. Hyde is found in the tent leading to Tier 1, with her Memory Simulation serving as the tier itself. Unfortunately, the tier itself proves to be filled with bugs; after defeating Milk, she admits that she coded it at 3 AM.
Make a Good Mega Man Level: Episode Zero
Zero first runs into Dr. Hyde after entering Mega City, and finds SRARA demanding to see her Memory Simulation. After Zero chases off SRARA Up n' Down, she upgrades him with her Blank Drive and the Cutter Chip, requesting his help in recovering four more chips that SRARA stole earlier. At the beginning of Chapter 2, she tracks down four potential leads to the chips' locations, and calls Zero on his Z-Phone to alert him to them. She also adds herself as a Z-Phone contact.
If Zero gathers all the chips and defeats all five Golems (collecting their chip efficiency upgrades), Dr. Hyde will ask him to return to Mega City with every upgrade. There, she will upgrade Zero's Blank Drive with the powerful Giga Crush, giving the weapon a function when used without a chip equipped.
She is later seen in the game's credits, standing in front of the Tier 1 tent in preparation for the festival.
