- "MEGA MAN... YOUR SENTENCE... IS DEATH!!!"
- ―Death Man, Make a Good Mega Man Level 3
Death Man is a Robot Master from the fangame Mega Man Rock Force. Considered one of the most powerful robots at the time of his creation, Death Man was created by the government to hunt down and destroy dangerous robots. However, his energy matrix required eight times the power of a normal robot, and this – combined with public backlash and the formation of the Rock Force by Mega Man – led to Death Man's eventual retirement, where he was put to work harvesting crops until his power eventually ran out.
In Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, Death Man appears as a Tier Boss, with a similar moveset to his original boss fight, albeit with drastically reduced damage.

Game Appearances
Mega Man Rock Force
Death Man is a Robot Master who, like Break Man in Mega Man 3, appears after the four "fusion" Robot Masters have been defeated, with their energy signatures coalescing into his body. His stage notably features no enemies, and is instead filled with spikes, pits, and all manner of instant-death hazards. Death Man himself attacks Mega Man by throwing his scythe, and he is able to inflict a high amount of damage compared to other bosses. His weakness is Charade Man's Charade Clone, though he is also weak to Cut Man's Rolling Cutter. After Death Man is defeated, Justice Man reveals himself as the main antagonist, and Mega Man moves on to his fortress.
Make a Good Mega Man Level 3
Death Man appears as the Tier Boss of Tier 13, the Movie Theater. Having been revived at some point, he now works as a janitor for the theater, finding peace with his new station in life. Mega Man confronts him to earn the gauntlet's Tier Rank, despite his apprehensiveness over their last battle. Before the battle starts, Death Man knocks him into the screen, sending him into an arena similar to his original Mega Man Rock Force stage.
Death Man primarily jumps around his room, targeting Mega Man's current location each time. After jumping three times, he throws his scythe in one of three ways before jumping again:
- A diagonal throw, which has it bounce around the room until it flies back to him.
- In Mega Man's direction, where it will rebound off the wall and back into his hands.
- In an arc, where it bounces off the ground until he grabs it again.
At 42 HP, Death Man will gain new attacks:
- Death Man throws his scythe into the bottom center of the room, which will create a vacuum pull that sucks Mega Man towards it. Death Man will attempt to jump on Mega Man while this happens.
- Death Man throws his scythe into the air and disappears. Three scythes will then appear, orbiting around Mega Man, until they stop and fly towards him. This happens a maximum of three times.
- Death Man throws his scythe in the air, where it will appear in the center of the room. After settling in the room's center, it will begin launching five scythes that orbit around it while spreading outwards. The center scythe will launch these scythes three times.
- Death Man throws his scythe downwards, causing a line of scythes to begin rising from below. The scythes have a pattern, with half of them going up, and vice versa.
During the multi-scythe attacks, Zomburgs will begin jumping into the arena, where they can be destroyed for small health and weapon energy.
After his defeat, Death Man appears as an NPC at the Magic Card Casino with most of the other defeated Tier Bosses.
Pre-Battle Dialogue
| Character | Dialogue |
|---|---|
| Mega Man | (One of the screens? Did I enter the wrong room?) (Oh no, what if I'm caught without a ticket?!) (Maybe that janitor over there can give me directions...) |
| Mega Man walks up to the janitor. | |
| ??? | Your time has come, Mega Man. The show is just about to start. |
| The janitor reveals themself to be Death Man, who is wearing a janitor outfit. | |
| Death Man | You even managed to avoid the adverts. |
| Mega Man | Death Man? No. No, not you of all robots... |
| Death Man | Would some food or drink from the concessions stand ease you? |
| Mega Man | You say that like I haven't already had a fast food-serving grim reaper try to kill me! |
| Death Man | Please, do not compare me to that rage-fuelled skeleton. I never felt any anger towards the robots I had to hunt down and decommission, only remorse. But that was never my true calling. This new, quiet life... brings me peace. |
| Mega Man | ...does it? (He's just trying to lower my guard isn't he...) |
| Death Man | Yes, it does. Whether it's ushering in the moviegoers, sweeping up the dropped popcorn... ...or SILENCING anyone who dares make noise during the film. So many loud, obnoxious phones have felt the bite of my scythe. |
| Death Man's stage starts to fade in on the theater screen. | |
| Mega Man | Are you trying to calm me down or are you not!? |
| Death Man | I am not here to make you watch your life flash before you on the big screen. All I ask from you is to help me fulfil my duty as Tier Boss... and to accept my compliments. |
| Mega Man | Your compliments? |
| Death Man | I see a lot of myself in you. We both desire to settle down and live outside the spotlight, but are constantly doomed to hunt dangerous robots. So, I truly mean it when I say... |
| Death Man knocks Mega Man into the screen. | |
| Death Man | ...you ought to be in the pictures. |
| The game transitions to Death Man's arena. | |
| Death Man | MEGA MAN... YOUR SENTENCE... |
| Death Man appears, now in his usual outfit. | |
| Death Man | IS DEATH!!! |

Trivia
- Death Man was originally programmed as the endboss for an Arena that was planned, but eventually cut. When plans for the tier bosses were later shuffled around, Death Man was repurposed as Tier 13's boss.
