Aether Man is a "Robot Master" from Make a Good Mega Man Level 3, fought as an optional boss of Arcane Man -Chaos Tower- (CERN HQ Remains). He's not actually a Robot Master, but rather Arcane Man's hollow body overtaken by the will of The Grand Scheme, who seeks to bring all humans back to their "place of origin". He also briefly appears behind the player when Divine Beam Parallel Weapon is used.
Battle
Aether Man is an optional boss, whose battle takes place in the Akashic Record. It has a twisted sky background, low gravity and unstable floor. He is constantly floating and uses a wide array of divine attacks for a very tough battle.
PHASE 1
- Creates a wargate above himself and releases a stream of fast energy shots aiming at Mega Man. Sometimes he uses this attack with barrier on.
- Performs 5 fast ramming attacks aiming at Mega Man. Can do this only with barrier on.
- Disappears and spawns 5 light clones around Mega Man, that follow his movement, before setting off in his direction one by one. They pass through him harmlessly, but drain his all weapon ammo instead, exploding after travelling far enough.
Once his first health bar is depleted, he charged up energy and disappears, spawning 2 clones of Arcane Man on either side of Mega Man's current position. They jump alongside him and attack with black holes (that don't block projectiles anymore): left one throws them in a rising curve and right one spawns them above Mega Man. Each clone has their own health, destroying them causes Aether Man to reappear with a new attack set.
PHASE 2
- Charges up Aether Saber and performs 3 consecutive, vertical slashes in a quick succession, that cover the entire screen. He warps to left and right side between each slash, appearing whenever Mega Man is now. The slash itself can also bounce Mega Man up, should it hit him.
- Fires off what appears to be huge, purple Magnetic Shockwave, taht can be avoided by standing between pillars.
- Ascends, turns the sky red and starts rumbling. Periodically, a meteor will fall down in Mega Man's direction, causing a huge explosion upon hitting the ground. This lasts for about 7 seconds. He can also put up the barrier before this.
BOTH PHASES
- Protects himself with a divine barrier, that everytime is shot, retaliates with 4 chains of explosion on + pattern. It can only be destroyed by Break Dash.
- Warps to the right side of the room, then literally swirls down the background into a small orb and holds it. When any projectile is shot at him or when you jump towards hims as well, he will warp to the upper left side. He can do that again, where he warps to the upper center of the room (he won't warp anymore). After a few seconds, Aether Man releases the orb into Mega Man's last position. It flies slowly, but will create a giant vortex that sucks Mega Man in and can even destroy a floor segment for some time. It can also detonate on direct contact with him too. It drains his health very quickly while inside and lingers for up to 8 seconds, with a few seconds of only suction effect lingering. Aether Man always starts the battle with this move.
When his health reaches 10 hp, he warps to the center of the room, charges up energy to the max and releases his final attack: a series of 4 scattered explosions, which will last until he's defeated. He also periodically puts up the barrier. For a cosmetic effect, with every health point lost, the sky of Akashic Record distorts and gradually turns white. Upon defeat, he erases the entire void along with himself forever.

- Before the battle, a sudden bluescreen will pop out which lists Aether Man's attacks and weapons they are based off.
